Tamworth is a market town in Staffordshire with a castle, a park and tons of history attached to it. This Puzzle Trails Treasure Hunt is suitable for all ages (7 - 77), but isn't particularly suitable for people in wheelchairs as there are some steep inclines, steps and potentially muddy areas to negotiate. There are many parking areas available within Tamworth town centre, most of which require payment. For children and young people there are great play areas along the Treasure Hunt route, as well as many opportunities for refreshments. Public toilets are well signposted throughout the town areas too. Picnicking is possible alongside the castle grounds near the river (towards the end of the Trail). For those who wish to extend their thrilling day, perhaps a visit to nearby Drayton Manor would be in order. For a quieter extension to your day, perhaps a visit to Fradley Junction would be enjoyable (DE13 7DN).
